wow 4-5 times a day seems a bit extreme to me. I am 24 and I do it twice a week max. I don't know my life is quite stressfull and I ve got really little self esteem may be that's why but I certainly don't enjoy it as much as I used to. It's become more of a need than pleasure to me. Anyways keep on beating pals

I started when I was 10, but whenever I felt "throbbing" I stopped. At about 11-12, I didn't stop and had my first ejaculation. I was so terrified! It felt good, but I was really afraid I hurt myself. Eventually, I told my mom (explaining what I did was bit embarrassing). She explained all and was OK, just lectured me a bit on hygiene and checked whether I didn't injure my foreskin and that was it. Since then, I masturbated almost every other day.

You are one of the lucky ones who has a great mother. For the other millions who aren't as lucky we need sex-ed in our schools --- NOW!

I agree, although I don't see how sex education can cover masturbation, when most kids start with it at different age.

I think besides teaching about the anatomical functions it would allow kids to ask questions. Certainly better than learning incorrect information from other "wiser" kids.

That's true. It would also be great if some of the sex education was done by medical professionals. We had a day long discussion with a gynaecologist and it was much better than most of the sex ed by our regular teachers. You are correct that kids will talk to each other about sex in exaggerated a mostly incorrect way.
