My doctor told me to use hydrocortisone for a bad case of balanitis, but I read that I should use a moisturizer along with it because of the possibility of skin damage. Is it better to use a penis health cream than a regular moisturizer? I'm a little worried about putting random stuff on my penis.

Dude, put on Man1 Man Oil. It’s made for the tool, so it’s a better bet than a moisturizer, and it’s definitely safe – I use it every day, and it’s made a huge difference in my tool.

Do not use Hydrocortisone on your genitals. The genital area absorbs 30-40% of the topical steroid, and even though hydrocortisone is the mildest/least potent steroid cream, it can thin the skin in that area fairly quickly. Also, the skin in that area will easily get addicted to the topical steroid and you'll likely go through topical steroid withdrawal when you stop using it. Just search topical steroid withdrawal on Google or Youtube for more information on the dangers of topical steroids.
