My son has Balanitis xerotica obliterans. The white discoloration occurred on the tip of his penis glans. He is uncircumcised. I was afraid to that when he was younger and now he has problems with infection under the foreskin. I am worried that this condition will provoke other complications. Is that possible?

It is possible and the most common complication is meatal stenosis, which is very serious condition. Balanitis xerotica obliterans is a genital variation of lichen sclerosus. It usually occurs in uncircumcised men and it is characterized by a white discoloration of the tip of the glans penis with associated scarring. I am not a doctor, so I don’t know what else to tell except to get some therapy if you are not already.
