I have a black discharge of old blood (I'm assuming it is old blood) about a week before every period. It is enough to need a pad, and it usually leaves a spot about the size of two quarters and lasts about five days.

First of all, is this just old blood from my past period that is still in my Fallopian tube?

Second, will the blockage keep my eggs from entering my uterous during ovulation? I am trying to get pregnant and am worried that this might be a problem. If it is a problem, is there a way around it?
