I am 22 years old. Last month I bleed between periods and that followed with a heavy period. This month I am on day 12 and saw blood again. It looked like it was more clotted. I finished my period about 5 days ago. Does anyone know what this could be?

A little more info would be helpful, but here are some factors that would affect the regularity of your cycle. Are you taking birth control pills? These problems are common, especially if you are just starting on the pill or if you have just come of it. This would include any type of chemical birth control. Have you been under a lot of stress lately? This will affect your cycle as well. Are you taking any type of medication that might have these side affects? Have you seen a gyn lately?
