I am currently on 'the pill' and am sexually active. I have started spotting brown blood and some times it is pink for about a week and a half. It isn't much, I usually only see it when I wipe. However I have seen some on my underware for the past 3 days. I should have my period in a week. Is spotting before your period when you're on the pill normal, or is there a chance I could be pregnant? I take my pill at the same time everyday, I am never late or early. How soon would a pregnancy test give an accurate answer? I really need help... a pregnancy is not something I want right now.

I have been on the pill many years I had a couple months break from it and have been back on it for 5 months I am sexually active I started spotting a week ago I still have got 3 pills left to take before my 7 day break, all I want to do is sleep I'm getting cramps in lower stomach and my body is itching a lot what is going on?
