First off, I am 20 years old. I have a boyfriend of a year and a half. I'm that girl that freaks out every month thinking that I'm pregnant. But of course, I never am/never have been.

Here's my question:

The other day, I went to the bathroom, just number one and when I wiped, there was a little pink blood on the toilet paper along with a little darker string of blood but not very much at all. (I know this is a lot of information). I still have a couple weeks before I get my period. And I got tested today for a UTI and it was negative.

I do masturbate occasionally, but never stick anything in vagina. And honestly I don't know if the blood came from my vagina or not.

What could be a cause of this? It was only that one time when I went to the bathroom and hasn't happened again!
