Have you had a sperm count? That would be where to start. Even with one testicle you can still father a child.

I understand this but with one of my testicles still inside my body wouldn't that cut my sperm count in half? And if I do have a low sperm count does this mean I will never be able to father a child?

Not necessarily, the other testicle may compensate. Even if it did not you are still making millions of sperm and it only takes one.



There are options. One method is to closely calculate your partners fertile times so that you are when you are trying you are at just the correct moment in time. There is also insemination. Your sperm would be collected and washed then placed right into the uterus, right where they need to be.



Check with a urologist first. They can help you find out IF there is a problem and how to treat it.

Yesterday I tested my sperm count with an in home kit and found that my count was lower than the 20 mil. So im gonna take ur advice and consult with a urologist thanks for the assistance

Being born with one testicle is called Monorchism, some boys are just simply born with one testicle. And some may have one removed for medical reasons.
Being born with one testicle is usually a result of an issue during fetal development.

Has your doctor said you were born with one testicle or did you have an issue with your one testicle not descending?
A single testicle can produce enough testosterone to have a normal sex drive and get an erection and ejaculate during an orgasm and father children.
Your doctor should do regular checkups to make sure your developing normally and your testosterone level is ok.
The biggest issue for many boys is they end up being so self-conscious about having one testicle they struggle to come to terms with having one testicle and they will avoid many thing so others won’t find out.
It is understandable your self-conscious about having one testicle and worried about dating or getting married.
In any relationship if a partner had an issue with you having one testicle you’re better off without them.
Just like your friends would not care about you having one testicle it would be the same in a relationship having one testicle should not matter to anyone who truly cares about you.
