I HOPE I CAN HELP SOMEONE!

You know, the thing that sucks about the internet is all we have got in this thread is a bunch of people LOOKING for answers, but no one coming back to give the answer. We are a bunch of terrified girls all finding this same thread...feeling a little better because we are not alone, but not getting any REAL kind of answer at all.

So I intend to come back to this thread when I find out the answer!!! For the next person who lands here.

My symptoms are these:
I swear heightened sense of smell or maybe I am being paranoid??!
HARD, SORE nipples! ouch + stressful! Am I pregnant???
I took the Plan B pill 6 days ago, and another one like 9 days ago. Had unprotected sex both times, with pull-out.

I am really just an id**t, because this little calculator thing said I was ovulating and I knew it, but I was so in love that I was dumb :-( It's one thing to be an id**t, it's much worse KNOWING you are an id**t :-( I hate this feeling, and I hate how the clinic is so judgmental :/ I am hard enough on myself!

What I want to know is why did my nipples start hurting like 4 or 5 days AFTER taking the second set of pills? Is that really from the pill? Or am I pregnant?

I swear I am just going crazy, can't sleep. Etc. I took a preg. test at planned parenthood because the nurse told me to come in, but then they said it was way too early and so of course my test was negative. They told me to come back in a week and a half to do a REAL test.

So I will try to remember to post my results here so we can finally know if all these signs are just the dumb pill or if we are really pregnant! If anyone else finds this thread before I (remember to) reply, please reply and maybe it will notify my email and I can give you answers.... :-)

I want to help anyone who is terrified like me!

One of the most common side effects of Plan B is breast tenderness. This could mean that your breasts are sore, nipples are erect or painful. Plan B is simply massive amounts of hormones that could mimic pregnancy. So please don't worry too much about breast tenderness, it's normal.

As far as your periods being late, that's also another side effect. Unless your period is more than a week late, don't worry. Plan B messes with your cycle a bit, so it's normal to spot, have an early period or have a late period.

I read one person come back and say she was pregnant. From my understanding, she took Plan B more than 75 hours after having unprotected sex and the chances that it will work after 24 hours goes down. If you take it within 24 hours, it is 95% likely to work and every day later, the chances diminish.

I've also read that a few of your did not have your boyfriends ejaculate in you. In that case, the chances you're pregnant are already small and if you combine that with Plan B, it's almost impossible. It's actually quite difficult to get pregnant. For couples who are actually trying, the chances are about 25% every month.

So again, if you took plan B, please take a look at their site of other sites where side effects are listed. Breast tenderness and a slightly delayed period are side effects.

Good luck to you all!

Ladies, I am having the sameeeeeeee problems! >.< I had sex for the first time on valentines day. The condom did not break. The I had sex again 4 or 5 days later. The condom did not break, or slip off, but my boyfriend told me that it was starting to slide off after he puled out of me. So the next morning (less than 24 hours later) I took the plan be pill. Yesterday, (a week and a half since the first time i had sex and about 4 days after the plan b pill) I noticed that my breasts were tender and my nipples are like always erect now. 0_0 I'm still not due to have my period for another week, but i'm still terrified that I'm preggers. Tomorrow i'm going to planned parenthood to start the pill, and i'll ask them if they think it's too soon to take a pregnancy test. if it isn't, ill take one an report back with the results. You guys make me feel a little better with your stories, thanks!

My partner and I had unprotected sex but he did not ejaculate in me, but you never can be sure with these men so I took the plan b just in case. Two weeks after my breast are sore, my legs are sore/pin sticking sensation and my vagina seems to have some soreness too, is anyone experience the legs sensation as well?

On the 28th of March I had unprotected sex with my significant other, this was the day right after my period ended. Less than 24 hours later he got me the Plan B one step pill. I took it with some food and that was that. A couple days later I started experiencing cramping and bloating, and for about 5 or 6 days after that I had extreme trouble having a bowl movement no matter what kind of fiber, juices, or laxatives I took. Easy to say, I've been in quite a bit of pain. Also my breasts became extremely tender and my nipples are always hard now. On the eighth of April I started seeing light, brown spotting, it is now the 15th (one week later), and there is a little more blood than when I started spotting, but not much, and the color has a tiny hint of red to it now but it is still mostly brown. My weight usually fluctuates between 132 and 135, I'm now up to 138. Also my breasts seem to be heaver and larger, not a huge difference, but there is definitely a difference. Looking back over the past weeks I had MANY mental meltdowns on my boyfriend (Mostly due to worrying about pregnancy, but they were still more serious than normal), We were driving down the road one day, and for some reason I just started bawling out of no where, all because the ice cream shop that he was going to take me to was closed for the day. I'm definately not the kind of person to just start crying over some ice cream. It has really been a scary experiance. My next period is supposed to come on the 19th, so in 4 days, if it doesn't come, I'll take a pregnancy test. I dont usually respond to sites like this, but seeing as many others seem to be having similar experiences, I felt the need to put my two cents in, in the hopes that someone can relate to my story and be comforted that they aren't going through these symptoms alone.

This thread is REALLY helpful. I am going through the exact same thing as all of you. Took the Plan B one day after my period, within 24 hours of the "incident", and got a 5 day period about 4 days later. It was actually a pretty heavy period for me, so I was sure the Plan B did the trick. NOW, 2 weeks later, my boobs are massive and swollen- and in the last 24 hours I've had a spell of nausea and diarhia. (Sorry for the graphic description- just trying to be detailed.) I'm assuming that it's way too soon to have symptoms of pregnancy and I'm doubly relieved now that I've read that others are experiencing the exact same effects. I've taken the Plan B before and didn't have anything like this happen- maybe it has something to do with when in your cycle you drop in all of those hormones.

I'd really like to know if anyone who posted on this thread ended up pregnant (or not) so I can rest easy that it's just a fluke.

This is exactly how I've felt. I had sex with my boyfriend like two days after my last period. The condom broke, but we don't believe he ejaculated inside because he pulled out before, but to be safe I took the Plan B pill. A week later, I bled for about four days but it was a darker color than usual. My breasts are super sore, feel enlarged, and the dark area has gotten larger. I've been emotionally unstable for the past three weeks, with headaches and back pain as well. I'm due for my period within the next few days; so just anxiously awaiting it now.

Honestly I am going to tell you if you are in this situation... do not sweat it. If taken within 24 hours, it is 95% effective. I had sex 7 weeks ago and the condom broke, so he literally came inside me, and I took next choice about 12 hours later. I took it and 2 weeks later, I had a VERY light period for about a week. My breasts were so tender, and I was literally freaking out. I have used these pills before and have thankfully never gotten pregnant, but these symptoms were freaking me out. The spotting went away about a week later, but my breasts were SO tender still. I took a test and it says I wasn't pregnant. About 2 weeks after all this I started my period. As long as you took the precaution, you are more than likely not pregnant. Just try not to stress, and remember.. taking these pills is like taking ALL of your full month of pills at one time.. it has a major affect on your body. And that is why we have all these symptoms.

Just thought I could set a few minds at rest. I took the morning after pill less than 12 hours after a condom malfunction. about a week later I had a sorta period ( not quite as heavy ) which lasted 5 days. A few days after that I had severe breast tenderness which lasted at least two weeks and today I got my period ( two weeks after the first bleed ) exactly one day early. So basically, if you are having breast tenderness, it seems to be quite common and is likely to do with the massive amounts of hormones you have taken ( I had breast tenderness all the time when I was taking a progesterone only contraceptive pill ), relax girls it's very unlikely that you're pregnant if you took the pill correctly :)

I am experiencing the same thing. Before this incident my period was june 1st, I had sex on the last two days of ovulation which was the 1st and 2nd. I took the plan b on the 1st. since then I had my period for 4 days and the blood flow was regular and no clots. I did have some cramping but not too bad. Ever since that period my breast are sore, I have been somewhat emotional, bloating, and now I have a small amount of milk comming out. I think this may be a miscarriage. I have had one before but I was in so much pain that I laid in bed for 2 days. When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I didnt get milk until after having her. Maybe there was no clots because it was so early? I have taken 2 pregnancy test and both were neg. but maybe too early to tell. Today is july 16th....So confused  :(

P.S. Android phones have an app called "My Days" that keeps track of your period and tells you when you are ovulating. It is amazing!!!
