There is brownish/blackish discoloration that runs from the top of my penis head to the bottom in the shape of a wide line that gets thinner toward the bottom. There is no pain, or anything else associated with it. I just noticed it recently and am wondering if this is anything to be concerned about.

It is probably not a discoloration, per se – just a natural variation in the color of your skin. A lot of men have a similar ‘line’ running from the tip to the base of the penis. Unless you have other symptoms that bother you, there is probably nothing to worry about.
