I am eagerly awaiting my period because I'm worried that I could be pregnant even though we have used a condom everytime.
I'm sure I'm just worrying over nothing. I am a few days late which i know isn't long enough to start worrying about but its hard not too. I'm only 16 and truley do not want to be pregnant.
But can your first time delay your period?

I think your just worrying although i wouldn't suggest having sex anyway. I would take a test of course and go from there

Well stress can be the cause of your late period. Your first sex should not be the one responsible for this. And you have used condoms and they are 98% secure.
You have a lot right now and thinking both on test and your late period has probably made you nervous and stressful. so the best thing for you is to calm down, and take it slowly. You need to relax. If your period is too late, then take a pregnancy test. Just to see if everything is ok. But there is always check up with a doctor. Keep us posted on your condition.

Having sex the first time does not cause your period to get delayed although it's possible that the stress of having sex the first time plus your anticipating it coming could hurt your period coming ontime. I'm glad to hear that you used a condom because you reduced your risk of getting pregnant to virtually zero. Have you taken any pregnancy tests or have you gotten your period? Let us know!
