Please help me i've been worrying a lot for the week. I had unprotected sex its my first time by the way with my boyfriend a week ago we use withdrawal method he didnt cum inside me not sure about precum though. After 3 days i discovered a morning pill i took the pills as advised. Also i've been experiencing uti-like symptoms been on antibiotics for 1 day now. Still have'nt had my period which i expect 1 week ago. Thus sex can cause my delay. And my uti? I cant be pregnant. I dont want to. Please need your advice should i use pregnancy test already? I need your advice soon.

Hi, if you only had sex a week ago you wouldn't be getting any symptoms yet specially if your periods are regular and it was due to start the same time as you had sex, it wouldn't be any use using a pregnancy test until around the 3 weeks mark so anything sooner would be a waste of money.
I do hope this has taught you a lesson and will make you think about using contraception next time before you have sex!

Hi, yes the morning after pill can be very effective to prevent pregnancy but the sooner it is taken the more chance it has to work, they say the best time to use it for the best chance of it working is the very next morning hence the name, the maximum time is 3 days (72 hours) after.
You will also find it will probably effect your periods on when you get your next one. :-)

If I was you I would Google use of the morning after pill to find out what if any symptoms you can expect to have in the coming week or so.
Just to let you know that if you ever use any contraception other than a condom and morning after pill when you take antibiotics it can effect how protected against pregnancy you are so always take extra protection and use a condom then to. :-)
