I have been diagnosed with SLE almost a year ago and even though I have got used to this illness somehow, I still cannot shake the feeling that something is not as it should be with my health. I use corticosteroids for dealing with SLE and have a question. Cancer risk with SLE? Is there any, or am I just being paranoid?

You are not being paranoid. I think that it is just plain sense to ask of something you are not familiar with. I have been dealing with SLE for 7 years now and I am just fine. Even though we are both sick, which does not have to mean we are different from other. We function properly, well medications are here to ensure that, so do not worry. You are doing your best; therefore, you are healthy as much as you can be. That is all I can say, as for your question, you would do best to consult your doctor on that subject.
