I have Fibromyalgia, Lyme disease and Restless leg syndrome. I was on Carisoprodol for well over a year, and thought it worked great. But I have changed Dr's and the one I have now says no Carisoprodol. He prescribed me Zanaflex. In my opinion is working as well, and I am also on Duragesic Pain Patch and it works wonderfully to maintain the pain to a level which is tolerable. Zanaflex is a long term muscle relaxer and it seems better for my system in the long run than the Carisoprodol.

I have recently been put on zanaflex and have found it to be a good for muscles relax and I am too on the duragesic patch and feel it is the most wonderful Rx that I do not have to take. All meds should be in that form of delivery system, although I have no highs or lows just pain relief all the time. The only problem I have with the patch is where to put it. Do you have any ideas? I would like it to be somewhere that is not as obvious as my arms.
