So my mother was diagnoised with endometreosis when she was about my age (18). And she wasn't ever suposse to be able to have children because of it's severity, but I was her little miracle.XD Now I have been experiencing awful period symptoms. Each period is worse and worse. I have extreme pain, which most OTC drugs don't aid. Most period nights I cry myself to sleep because it hurts so bad. And the pain isn't just in my lower abdomen. It's like it travels down deep into my legs and my bones. Recently, I get naucious during my periods and become pretty picky about what I eat. I also have digestion problems around my period, along with severe migrains and headaches. I've asked my aunt about it and she said I could have it since my mom had it (which is when I found out my mom had it). I told my mom all my semptoms and told her what I think i have and she's just like oh maybe. She doesn't care to make me an appointment with a doctor or pay for one either. She won't even pay for planned parenthood. It's like she doesn't care if I loose all my fertility. It's heartbreaking and scary that my own mother isn't concerned and doens't care if I can give her grandchildren. I'm so scared that I will loose my fertility if I go untreated and I have it. So what do I do? And do all these horrible symptoms really add up to endometreosis??:-( help and thanks!!!

I also forgot to add that I also bleed while passing a stool, and often a lot of blood bleeds out. I have read that it can effect your bowel and rectum. I also have really bad back issues. I've never been a doctor for them but they started the year I got my period. And it all pain in my lower back.

It's kinda hard to understand why would she react in this way, but I know how it can be sometimes... you obviously can't give up on this, you have to talk and talk to her until she agrees to get you checked up. It doesn't have to be endometrosis, even though the pain and other symptoms that come with your period might point to that. Similar things can happen because of polycystic ovaries or other hormonal imbalances. But whichever thing is causing such pain, it can be managed in much safer way than just popping painkillers - that's why you need at least a basic checkup.
