changing from celexa to wellbutrin

Did your withdrawal get better? I'm 2 weeks into the switch and I'm not sure if I can take another day of feeling this way. So lightheaded drained headaches bouts of nausea etc. just want someone to say it'll get better

I can only hope that this will be how it is for me. I am a mess. My husband is ready to leave me because of the libido issues which according to him have been 10 years in the making. I have horrible guilt over this and amI sick inside. My love has never changed but my reaction to it has and has hurt him almost to a point of no repair. My doctor is FINALLY after years of asking for help with my weight gain and inability to lose weight and now with the potential, probably loss of my 20 year marriage is putting me on Bupropion. She had me cut down for a week and go off for a week. As soon as I went off I am having the prickly skin feeling, which carries into my insides if that makes sense, I have dizziness and am crying all the time. Although the crying all the time had started a month earlier upon finding out due to my illness issues my marriage may be over. I am not sure what is meds, what is me and what is this horrible mess that who i am has caused. Thanks for giving hope of a good switch.

Thank you for posting this. I have depression and have been struggling with this sh*t for a while now, stuck on one pill because my anxiety and depression cannot get me to switch to the other. Most people post reviews about negative side effects, because let's face it ...people are too lazy to go online and post when it works : ) ha but this made me have enough courage to finally switch from celexa to something else. I had the same problem going from 40mg of citalopram to Wellbutrin, the only side effect I had felt from the Citalopram was loose bowel movement shortly after taking it in the morning. I don't feel that the Wellbutrin is as good as Citalopram,

I was taking Celexa for a year Celexa 40 mg work well with me the only thing is I gained 30 lbs over the time frame so recently my doctor switch me to Wellbutrin I had horrible withdrawals from Celexa I had those brain zaps and and so now I've been on Wellbutrin for almost 3 weeks and I feel horrible any little thing makes me cry I've had a lot of feelings of hopelessness loneliness like things are not going to get better it's been it's been affecting me at work everything makes me cry sometimes I cry for no reason's like I'm always on edge at this point I don't I really don't know what else to do I can't continue on like this and I can't put my job in Jeopardy because I cannot control my emotions I'm not like this normally I'm bubbly and happy the doctor scheduled me to go back to her office this Thursday to switch me to something different hopefully we can find something that'll start working pretty soon because I can't be like this and I just want to feel normal again

My husband's psychiatrist switched him with no weaning. Celexa one day...wellbutrin the next with no side effects.

Hi we're you on Wellbutrin hcl sr. I was prescribed this for anxiety/ slight depression but I'm afraid to take it Did it work right away for you and did you sleep well on this. UGH!! Too anxious to even take it..

The same for me i just started welbutrin almost 3 weeks ago and i feel like flu like symptoms nausea, headache etc. How are you feeling now. I hope it goes away soon

I stopped celexa abruptly about 10 days ago and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!! I am starting wellbutrin tomorrow and hope anyone has advice on side effects? I didn't have a bad experience with celexa and am hoping ill have same feeling with wellbutrin???

I have been on Celexa and was frustrated by weight... my doctor just switched me to Wellbutrin. I am hoping it aids my efforts without any side effects, because other than the weight, I have been taking Celexa for years without any issues.... these comments are interesting and helpful.
