I am only 13 and I get a usually clear slightly thick almost goop nearly every day. Some days it's really bad and some days it may not exceed a dime size. This has been going on for maybe a year or 2, and it's not like it's around my period 'cause it was happening even before I started with periods. I am getting concerned

It is incredibly disappointing to read these posts where young girls are coming to seek advice because they are afraid to go to their parents or doctor and the amount of misinformation, judgment, and just plain nonsense that is being posted. For those of you who are young and not sexually active, your body is constantly changing as your hormones change and develop. You will experience a multitude of things that seem 'weird' or 'abnormal'. Find someone you trust, that will take you to the doctor who can properly address your concerns. For older women, go to the doctor, if you don't feel confident in that individual's assessment, find another doctor until you are satisfied with the answer. Any good practitioner is going to make sure their patient understands and is comfortable with the information presented. Scare tactics, judgment, constant misinformation related to STIs, Bacterial Infections, etc are doing nothing but making matters worse for someone who is already scared. GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!

And, for the gentlemen who have posted...seriously, if you have a sexual partner you cannot have these conversations with, you need to reevaluate the circumstances you are in. No one should be in a sexual relationship with another person when they cannot address the concerns anyone has brought up under this post.

I am more than happy to direct anyone to appropriate local resources if you need help. I will keep an eye on this post to answer anyone at any time.

Please, your reproductive health is of the utmost importance and should be treated with respect and care.
