Im 18 started birth contorl for my cramps. After 3 weeks of being on it i got sick like with a cold and had an allergic reation so i had to get off my birth control. It's been a week and a half and i still havent gotten it yet i have cramps and a white discharge what's happening?

hi I am in the same boat as you i was on the pill for 9 years and have had one child whilst on the pill recently i stopped the pill to try for another baby on the 19th march i got brown dischargewhich lasted for 4 days than on the 1st April started getting lotz of white discharge followed by what felt like period pain that night we had sex and the pain wasnt there the next day i still dont have a period. I am wondering am i pregnant. I have also been getting dizzy spells and cramping for a week or so. Apparently it can take up to a year for your periods to get back to norma but im not sure of this as when i was on the pill if i missed one day i would bleed so im unsure too. Best of luck to you.

I BELIEVE it is called leukorrhea, it is a high white blood cell count form what I believe and it happens to women after pregnancy or after they stop taking birth control. It is listed as one of the side effects of the Birth control I wastaking , Yaz. My Dr. said it should go away but can take anywherefrom a month or a year or it may never go away. They really should make this side effect more clear!!!!
