I have gained approx 20 lbs while on Cymbalta. I have watched my diet & exercised. I think this is only keeping me from gaining more weight. Is it possible to take one of the OTC weight loss drugs while taking 60 mg of Cymbalta daily?

Greetings to all People talking Cymbalta
I have been on this drug for about 1 1/2 years thinking that it would help my chronic pain in neck. It didn't really do what I think it was suppose to just made me unaware. I was having preasure in my head, headaches, light headness, nausea, insomnia, tightness in the throat. I am on day three of not taking the medication (cold Turkey) probably not the smartest thing to do if you have depression. I have also lost an alarming amount of weight not sure if it is the medication or just stress. So far the withdrawls haven't been to bad if any thing my head feels better...no pressure and the tightness in my thoat has gone. In my case I feel that the drug was causing worse probelms then needed. I have also had several black outs that the doctors have not answers for, So this is my reason for doing this cold turkey.....I will give it a few weeks to see how things go and report my findings as time goes on. While on this medication I was also getting the heart racing and sweating at night, there has also been quite a bit of dizziness which has been almost daily for the last 6 months. I find that gravol has helped with some of the symptoms if you can manage to get past the tiredness it does help. I also take a B supplment (SISU B stress). I really think the B has helped...this product has all the B family in it which helps with stress and will keep you calm. I suggest looking for other natural alternatives to help you get through the withdrawls of the cymbalta. Any Natural Health Supplment store will help with you find what you need.
Good Luck to all of you tryiing to elimate this drug from you life....my advise is get off this drug and look for other alternatives.
Cheers and Prosperity to all
