i had unprotected sex on Aug 10th and had periods on Aug 2nd and for 4 days. I had pill on the same day within 8 hours and now my periods is delayed. On a normal time, i should have got my periods by early first week of September.But it is delayed for over 2 weeks now. Please answer as im little worried.

Although EC is not 100% guaranteed, it is very reliable, especially as it was taken early. One of the impacts of EC is that the next periods can be early or late, or even not arrive. However, if you are worried, you can take a pregnancy home test. It should be accurate now.

thanks of your reply. however, I did not get my periods for this month itself ..:( I am waiting for it every day. Lastly, i got it on Aug 2nd for 4 days and had unprotected sex on Aug 10th amd had i-pill within 8 hours of time. After then I did not get my next period till today. Please suggest. It will not arrive for one cycle itself ?
