Hi guest,

You wait.

Common side effects of emergency contraceptives include spotting and your next SEVERAL periods being early or late and heavier or lighter than normal.

You can test 2 weeks, preferably 3, after having sex.

Good luck.

There is ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy with any sexual contact. No birth control is 100% effective.

If you took it within 72 hours then the odds are very low.

Again, late periods ARE NORMAL after using emergency birth controls.

Hope it helps.

Usually, you should repeat the pregnancy test 7-10 days after you expected your period.

After that, see your doctor to find out why you're late.

Remember, emergency contraceptives CAN and OFTEN do make you late.
