I have problems with crystal deposition in the joints, so I am diagnosed with pyrophosphate arthropathy. My doctor recommended me to use Dicloflex and told me it has been used and with some other joint disorders. I am confused because my friend uses it for the pain and inflammation in dental surgery. Can you tell me could it be the appropriate medicine for me? I would like to hear are there warrants about Dicloflex I should know.

You should not be worried, because Dicloflex is recommended in both cases of you and your friend. Warrants you need to know are similar to any other drug, for example, this medicine may cause dizziness and so may affect your ability to drive. You should not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medicine affects you. During long-term treatment, you should do blood tests to monitor kidney function. This may help to monitor and liver function, as well as levels of blood components, particularly in the elderly. Dicloflex may mask the signs and symptoms of infection, which could be the problem. Drug is not recommended for use in children under 14 years of age, but I guess you are older than that. Close medical supervision is important in people with symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders, particularly in the elderly during usage of Dicloflex. Close medical supervision is important if you are suffering from severe impairment of liver function. Dicloflex should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients, so you should inform your doctor if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
