There is actually no cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Aricept is once a day prescription drug that has limited action in mild to moderate forms of this disease. Alzheimer disease affects elderly people, but aricept is contraindicated in persons with kidney, liver, heart or lung diseases. Also during using drugs like nsaids there can be drug interactions. Aricept affects acetylholin’s action and by the same way side effects are forming. Decreased appetite, nausea, diarrhoea, insomnia and dry mouth are among the others.
