Hi, Im 17 and I have been having discharge between my periods for the past year. When i first got my period i was 15 and this never happened. Now i must wear a pantyliner everyday because i get a whitish, clear or light yellow discharge. I told my mom about it and she said if it continues we need to go to the gynacologist. It still is but i will never brought it up again bc there is no way in hell i am gonna go to a gynacologist no matter what anybody will ever say to me. I never had sex before and i read somewhere that this could be normal which if it is that sux bc u cant wear a thong. I do get my period every thirty days and the discharge between them has a smell. I dont understand why this started a year after i got my first period if you have any idea about whats going on plz comment. oh and again there is no way im goin to a gynacologist so plz dont recommend that bc its not gonna help me at all bc its not gonna happen, i am very stubborn about that!
thnx 4 the help

This is likely normal. I'm 33 and have been experiencing the same issue since I was about 13. I have to watch what kind of soaps and bubble baths I use because that certainly affects my discharge. Sometimes it's heavy and other times barely noticeable. I've found using vagisil feminine wash helps. I certainly sympathize with you as it's not pleasant. I would only be concerned if you were getting an itchie burning sensation which may be indications of a yeast infection.

i dont think having sex or not effects it because i'm 15 and have sex and i still get discharge between periods, its been like it since i was 12. highly irratating tbh.

any one know if it stops?

don't sweat it. I'm 17 and i just recently started having sex but before that i would get a clearish white ish yellowish discharge all the time and my gyno told me that i was just my vagina's natural way of cleaning itself. you shouldn't have to worry unless it gets to be green or another color and has a fishy smell and itches or hurts.
hope this helps :-)
