My last two periods were kindof strange. I usually have my period for 5-7 days w/ medium flow and no cramps. The first of the two weird ones lasted 10 days w/ heavy flow and unbearable cramps. Two weeks later I spotted for three days. This is not in the norm for me. I haven't ever spotted before. My last period last for 6 days which is normal but w/ a very light flow. It's a week later and I'm spotting again. Also after urinating there is a thick clear snot like discharge. I am disease free. I got checked two months ago after sleeping with someone new and checked out clean. I am 17 years old and my periods have been pretty regular since I was 12. I've been on birth control for about 6 months and that also is suppossed to regulate your period, I am very confused can anyone help me please?

Hi, i've gotta start off by saying, thank god! someone with the same problem as me, after looking at this website, asking the same question as you, nobody has answered me! sorry to say i've gotta ask, is this you get slightly blood stained? i've had the same thing for about 5 months now, and still no answer to what it could be, after a trip to the doc's, my hormone levels are fine, and thats all i know!

Hi, well im sorry to say i havent really got any answers, but iv'e had exactly the same thing for the last few months, after asking for some answers on this site, still non the wiser! I do have a question for you, this snot like discharge you get, is it slightly blood stained? if so, i have got exacty that, after a trip to the doc's, i found out my hormoan levels are normal, but thats about it! so im out to try and find out whats wrong too!

I agree! I have been experiencing the same thing, and I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative, and i'm getting really frustrated with it, because I got checked out and I'm fine too. And to go off of the snotty-like discharge, mine is blood-stained as well. This i think for me all started after I had sex... but I've done it a lot before, but this has never happened and I'm so confused. Has anyone found out anything yet?
