does wellbutrin help you to lose weight?

some people yes some people no. everyone is different. i was supposed to start taking it but decided im not going back on any more pills

I took it for 3 years & it made me lose about 15-20 lbs.  I had been working out like crazy and eating right and could get back to 135lbs (after baby weight gain), but I'd always plateau there. i was a bikini/fitness model so I was VERY conscious about my weight & I just could not get back to the 120 I needed to be at.  But after starting Wellbutrin, it just started falling off (still with same diet/exercise). Hit  117 lbs after about a year, then steadied out about 123 where I stayed for about 4 years (in my late 30s).  THEN my dr put me on prestiq along with the Wellbutrin and that's where it all went to hell.  I started gaining weight like crazy, nothing fit.  I stopped prestiq and tried Prozac and then lexapro.  Dr took me off Wellbutrin and I've started adderall as well.  Finally realized lexapro was the same prob as prestiq so I switched myself back to Wellbutrin about a month ago.  I'm hoping it will do what it did before.  I'm at 150 lbs and miserable!
