I took avaine for 1 week the first 3 days were ok but i normally have extreame heavy bleeding with my period an this medication made it worse. when i first got my period i bled so bad i soaked throgh 4 pairs of pjs in 1 night with blood....that lasted for 4 days even with the thickest and longest pad available. i went on seasonale to control the amount of blood i would get and it helped. i am extreamly senative to medication and found that out when i switched to avaine. I am still bleeding pretty heavy but since i switched back to seasonale it has lighted up a little. avaine caused heavy bleeding...changing pad every hour, really bad cramps, extreame pain in adomin, watery eyes. sometime i would be crying for no reason. i also noticed it caused extream hunger...but when i ate my stomach hurt so much cuz i was bleeding so bad that i couldnt eat...just stay away from this garbage! seasonale works great once you give it 6 months.
