A woman should not ever be intimate while on her period. It's unsanitary ! I am disgusted with just the whole idea of being on my period and people have the nerve to engage in such activities during such an unclean time! Menstrual blood is waste, just like urine and feces are. And besides the Bible actually says that a man should not touch a woman while she's menstruating. It's sin, but forget religion. It's awful to have sex while excreting waste anyhow! No wonder there are so many diseases and problems in the world!

My husband and i didn't mind having sex at that time of the month. Granted, there are some restrictions, but in general it was good.

First and foremost, I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 11 after my 4th period. I did not begin to have intercourse whilst menstruating until about 5 months ago, and I am 34. I double-checked with my Ob/Gyn to make sure, and she said that the idea that endometriosis is caused, or is exclusive to, women who have intercourse while on their period is obviously NOT the statement of a med student. In addition, I also have dysmenorrhea, or debilitating menstrual cramps. At least, I did, until I began to have intercourse with my fiance while on my period. The cramps are still nasty, but no longer keep me in bed with a trashcan next to my head for when I become sick from the pain. After orgasm, I am pain free for hours, and my orgasms are MUCH more intense while I am on my period. People should remember that the fluid released from the uterus during menstruation, though bloody, is entirely separate from the rest of your blood stream. It is simply the lining of the uterus that was grown to support a pregnancy. When pregnancy is not achieved, the lining sloughs off. Your body is NOT actually bleeding! Think about it logically, people!

Always use protection as you CAN STILL GET PREGNANT DURING A PERIOD. It happens.

well having sex on you're period, yeah it was a bit of an embaressing question to ask my patner to do , but after a while i got over the confidence factor. the blood, well for me there isn't alot of it untill toward the end. and always shower afterward.
my partner and i discuss it after aswell and i think that is a heathy way to feel comfortable. but hiv's, std's and aid's are a problem but that is only a problem if either of you have caught it from a recent partner and it is a vital situation to be honest aboutnin a relationship.

i had unprotected sex while on my period when i was 15, i didnt have sex after that for a while. i got pregnant and my conception date was around that time. i didnt think u could get pregnant while on your period back then. i know that doesnt have anything to do with stds, but i thought id give you a heads up, that can happen.

Its so amazing while having sex in periods like you don't have to use any kind of liquid and I did it about more then 50 times and I loved it its a bit messy though like we threw our blankets but atleast we loved that time and believe me it was amazing...
