mamas on 8 meds, has high bp and heart disease and terrible edema in feet/ankles, complains of feeling tired/listless, headaches...she is 87, and on Nambumetone 2x day 500 mg, Isosorbide mononitrate 60 mg 1x, Hydrochlorothizide 12.5 mg 1x, Lisinopril 20 mg 1x, Metoprolol Tartrate 25 mg 1x, Simvastatin 40 mg 1x,Plavix 75mg 1x, Temazepam 15mg 1x at night. WHEW! How can all these interact well? Are they redundant? I am scared she is overmedicated! Any info re: the drugs themselves? She isn't even sure what most are for. 2 different drs are prescribing..
