Hi, I am 24 and have an epididymal cyst that has grown to the size of my testicle.My Urologist advised me to leave it alone because of the risk of infertility having it removed, but it is too uncomfortable for me to live with and is effecting my quality of life.
I have gone against his decision and opted to have it removed but am now having second thoughts, because i would like to have kids in around 10 years.
The pain i have is from the hard tubes (veins?) its connected to, i think because it sits underneath my testicle its making my testicle sit higher and causing a numb heavy feeling.Also it takes a while for me to urinate, sometimes as long as 10 minutes, could this be because of the pressure and numbness of the cyst that i can feel?How high is the risk of infertility?
