I haven't been diagnosed but I've researched this! I've had a cyst on my left testicle for about 2 years! At first it was like the size of a pea but it was hard but it was yellow, over the past 2 weeks it's increased and it's got bigger but still yellow! When I walk it brushes on my trousers which causes a pain but in general it isn't painful! Should I be worried about it being serious? I'm a healthy person since I've quit smoking a few years ago, I don't drink and regularly eat healthy!

I'm 50 and I my testicular cysts went away (twice) without surgery. I wanted to share my story. I had a cyst on my left testicle for 8 years. It became larger and larger over the years and I got it scanned about 3 times. Every urologist said it was benign and they wouldn't recommend removal. Some days a few times a year it would really hurt. It grew to about the combined size of my 2 testicles. It was pretty huge. I was desperate for some way to get rid of it as it looked really weird too - like I had 3 balls (it was pushing one down). In my Jan 2016 checkup my testosterone result was low 300's. Doctor recommended Axiron, so I started it. After 2 months the cyst shrank considerably. I did three months of Axiron and stopped because I was starting to develop breasts. When I stopped the cyst soon came back in the same spot, along with a twin, and soon grew to previous size. So in February this year I started Axiron again and changed my diet and workout which is so far preventing the boobs from returning. Now, in July, cyst has totally vanished again. No trace of it or the twin.

I have tried to research medical literature to see if testicular cyst reduction is a known effect of Axiron, but there is none I can find. All one can find is surgical cyst removal options and that no known medication can shrink cysts (except some people saying herbs can) Doctor has no clue why the cysts vanished, but agrees there's probably a relationship between Axiron use and cyst disappearance. If any of you guys are middle-aged and have cysts and low T like I did, I would recommend you check your testosterone and ask your doctor about Axiron. This is in no way a plug for Axiron. My experience is genuine and I just want to tell you about it, if you are interested. I could not be happier that my cysts have vanished without surgery. Axiron can shrink your testicles according to literature, but that hasn't been my experience so far. Obviously there has been a reduction in size of my sack contents, but that's because a huge cyst and its twin are no longer there, not because anything else has shrunk.

This is a follow up comment from the author of the post written by ClintFromNYtoVA. Searching this handle may lead you to me.

An observation. This cyst problem is recurrent. It began after testicular cancer in which the other testicle was removed.

After which I was exposed to excessive mold spores over a long period of time before discovering and correcting the environment.

As an aside the mold led to Lyme related manifestations as well as systemic yeast and eventually issues resembling a condition known as Morgellons.

Although I knew not to mention Morgellons, I could not get help for the mold nor Lyme as doctors kept continually misdiagnosing me and referring me for unrelated testing, so I walked away to learn all that I could and self treat.

Several antifungals were self administered as well as antihelmintics and now only symptoms of Borellia and Bartonella remain. Disseminated oral spirochetosis is also highly likely. I mirrored several antibiotic combinations that are used to treat Lyme.

The cyst appears to respond to Doxycycline and or Minocycline. I did the equivalent of a 90 day treatment and the pain came under control. Two months after cessation of antibiotics the pain is now beginning to return.

Unable to handle the side effects of long term antibiotics I have switched to herbal treatment. I will be monitoring and following the situation closely.

I plan to resolve this and my other health ailments completely.

Check out use of topical iodine + DMSO. Read as much info before using DMSO as it is a solvent, but an amazing carrier through the skin. Mike
