I know it must be terrible enough that my mother needs to use Faslodex. After breast cancer she had, this seemed as injection, which might help her. At least that is what her doctor told us. Anyway, she started to have head bumps since she has been taking this drug. We do not know what to do, can you tell us if she needs to report this to her doctor, or is that some normal side effect of Faslodex.

Faslodex is indicated for treatment of hormone receptor positive metastatic breast cancer. It usually happens with women in post-menopause, with disease progression following anti-estrogen therapy. The most important warrant about injections of Faslodex is about childbearing age of women. Problem is because this drug passes through placenta and harm fetus. I am going to tell you some of the most common adverse reactions while Faslodex has been used. Those side effects are nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Common side effects are headaches, back pain, vasodilatation and pharyngitis. About head bumps, you have reported I do not have any info to explain it to you. That is why I believe your mother should make an appointment with her doctor and report this side effect. If head bumps is caused by this medicine, maybe her doctor would rather change her therapy.
