Hello girls,
I am 11 months off and have much less ROCD than the first months, but now I am always depressed after ovulation.. it always lasts about 6 days
I am scared that I am stuck with PMDD forever now...
I am scared that now that I am almost a year off, this is my life as of today...
So scared, I can't live like that... :(
HELP, do some of you feel like this ?
Has it gone away ?

I did some research on spotting and found a correlation between that and being overweight. I'm pretty pissed that neither of the gynos that I saw mentioned anything about a high amount of fat cells producing excess estrogen. Did some retrospective thinking and realized that my spotting was likely brought on by being 60lbs+ overweight since all the extra estrogen can confuse the ovaries.
Part of me is worried that my being overweight isn't the case but I've already started cutting back on bad foods. Only time will tell.

Have you asked your gyno regarding this - perhaps try to rule out PCOS?

And I'm figuring that if I don't see a change in this spotting after losing some weight that I'm gonna call them and get an appointment because that's a good point.

I read from different forums though that spotting is common during the first few months post pill - some women ruled out PCOS. In my case, haven’t checked with my OBGYN yet, but ill wait for another cycle if this happens again.
How many times and how long were your spotting episodes in your cycle?
And, by the way how are you feeling today? I hope you have a good day!

Been reading a lot in regards to symptoms and giving it a few cycles before seeing a doc. Can be hard to be patient when things get real tough though.
I had originally started BC because I was having a 10 month spotting spree actually. Got my withdrawal bleed, got a tiny bit of spotting and like 2 and a half weeks later got my actual first period. Which ends at me currently spotting again. Finally been having a few good days so I've been good! Hope you've been doing good too~

I am so happy to hear from you and so so happy to hear that you have improved since we last spoke! I'm so sorry you had an anxiety attack in Disneyland... I can only imagine how awful that would be. Perhaps you weren't ready for such a large crowd yet?
I have been...okay. Not great. I just passed the 3 month mark of being off birth control, and I have to tell you, last month (month 3) was probably the worst I have seen so far. Before my period last month I was very anxious and had a big anxiety attack one night where I couldn't feel my hands. During and after my period I basically fell apart and had a complete mental break down. I was so physically ill (nausea, diarrhea, the worst anxiety I have ever experienced in my life, trouble breathing, sleeping all the time, and I developed agoraphobia and not wanting to leave the house or my bed, dizzy all the time, lost my appetite and lost probably 10 pounds in those 2 weeks). I started to see a new psychiatrist a few weeks ago and she has been helping me. I will be starting Zoloft this week to help me too because I have realized I can't live like this anymore.
I have now entered month 4 without the pill - the end of this month I will have been off the pill for 4 months and I pray every day that I will feel better. Its been a really tough time, I even had to go back home to my parents house for a few weeks because I was so scared that I was going to die.

I am sorry to hear that it has been such a hard month for you. I know you said that you were going to start taking Zoloft this past week. I heard that for the first two weeks of taking it can cause you to feel worse before you feel better. Maybe that is what has exasperated your symptoms? Don't give up your going to make it. We are all in this fight together and your not alone.

Yes, I actually did feel depressed after stopping my birth control it took a couple weeks for me to finally start feeling like myself again

My constipation and gas is really driving me crazy. I tried high fiber foods but no effect. I’m really really worried!

Thank you for the positive message :) I actually haven't started the Zoloft yet...I will be starting it on Thursday. I want to wait until my period is completely over so I don't have a bunch of stuff going on at once haha. Yes, some people do have that response - as the Zoloft builds up in the system some people experience feeling worse at first before they begin to feel better. I'm trying not to look up an reviews about it because that will just make my anxiety worse.
