I recently stopped taking my birth control pills. I am not trying to conceive, I stopped taking them because they were having a negative effect on my relationship. They turned me into someone who I actually was not, I think this is due to switching from pill to pill. So now that I have stopped taking them (this is the second time I've ever stopped taking them) it has been almost 4 months. The first time I stopped taking them I felt ok, not great but after 3 months I felt good again. Now this time I am not doing well AT ALL. I go from being totally ok to being crazy mad or sad or angry. I literally have no control over my mood. I understand this is all from the hormonal change, I know it can take weeks, months, or even years to get back to feeling normal but my question here is if there is anything I can do to aid the process of getting back to normal. If any one has every tried an herbal remedies or homeopathic like stuff to help get your body producing the needed hormones again. I feel like something needs to be done because at this rate I am debating going back on the pill again which I DO NOT want to do.... ever. Please, can someone share any ideas or experiences? Thank you!

Have you talked to your doctor about how you are feeling? It does not sound like it is just the b-control, because after 3 months they should be out of your system. Perhaps you need some other type of hormone therepy, or you some other disorder (anxiety or depression). I have a friend who cannot take b-control either because it makes her a whacky pscyho, but off of them she is fine. I find it strange that you are still not feeling OK. What does your doctor say?
