Thanks for the feedback. I did talk to her Dr's and nurses and got lots of answers. Yes, everything is a side effect. I was amazed how they all said that this was major surgery and would definately take time to recuperate. All that moving of organs causes a lot of pain. I didn't realize they also did a bile duct exploration which was giving her that tight feeling around her lower chest area.
It's been a week today and she's a new woman. I've gotten her off the Loratab and it's really helped to get rid of the sleepiness and nausea. She's also been put on Questran for her digestion, to help slow down the diarrhea.

Hi there! I think that this must be in response to your other thread about your mom? I'm glad to hear that she's doing so well! Please keeep us posted on how she's doing and keep us posted on how your'e doing, too! :-)

Isn't that always the way. :) I'm so glad to hear that everything worked out for you and your mom. I know that taking care of your parents while they're sick is difficult, but it sounds like you've been very attentive! :)
