I am 13 and I am having a lot of discharge, that is turning my underwear a yellow color. It also smells bad.:$ My mom died when I was young so its just me and my dad. I think I might have vaginitis, but I am to afraid to ask, If I do ask I am afraid of the doctor. Is there anyway that I could swab myself and just give it to the doctor? And how would I get him to take me to the doctor? (he doesn't really believe in doctors)

Hi, I'm 15 now and had the same thing when I was younger. My mom just told me It was the start of my period coming. After about 11-12 months I got my period. It was quite early but my two older sisters got it at the same age as me. Don't worry, It smelt on me too. Just try to change your underwear as much as you can and shower at least once a day. It should go on for a year or so and then disappear. Hope this was helpful, and I'm sorry to hear about your mum. If you want to ask someone, ask an aunt or friends mum. Don't be shy, they'll understand.
