Hi, Im a senior in my high school who have just started off the school year with lots of issues that have been causing me so much stress.
Other than typical worrying about getting into college and what not, I have three health issues that has been stressing me out over the top..

1.) Yeast Infection: Just last saturday my discharge from my vagina was very white and cottage cheese like. But for me, never having a yeast infection in my entire life and not knowing about them at all ignored it until it got to Monday and my vagina become more itchy and my diacharge was worse. So I told my mum and she gave me a three day over the counter medicine to use that should get rid of the fungi in me. But I was very bloated and still am. Its now sunday and although my white discharge has gone down Im still itchy. I havent been itching it but Im afraid that the three day med didnt work. I didnt go to the doctor for my yeast infection as of yet because my mum told me to wait it out a little longer...

2.) My boyfriend and I have been together for a long while and are sexually active. But around August 4th we had sex with a condom but it broke during so. He came in me and I was highly upset. So we went to the CVS right away and I took Plan B a contraceptive pill. The last time I had my period before sex was on sunday july 10th and ended July 17. A week later after the whole sex, I got my period Aug 11th to the 18th. I knew it was a period and not spotting though because I had contractions in my legs (cramps) to which I always get on the first two days of my period and it was overall pretty bloody. though not as bloody as I usually get it for the first three days. I had been stressing after the sex incident everyday MAJORLY and was thinking that it could have been the contraceptive and my stress that made my blood flow not as heavy. I waited until I didnt bleed anymore August 18th and took a pregnancy test first thing in the morning. it tested negative but I dont know if a person can get the right results a day after you had your period and theres absolutely no more blood coming out of me. Its now August and I should have my next period in a week or two but Im stressing over the fact that what If I didnt take the pregnancy test at a time that I should?

3.) I was hanging out with my boyfriend on Friday Sept 2nd and was walking around outside with him. Im an artist and was carrying a sketch book under my left armpit as we walked about. After that we went back to his house and watched some TV. But my armpit was hurting really badly. He took me home and I saw that I had a bump under it and it was red. The next morning it was still there and I showed my dad. He thought maybe it was a spider bite but then said that it was probably a pimple and that I should just pop it. So I tried and It was really hard. I ended up only gettting a little bit of stuff out and now its more inflamed and hurts...Im scared about it and I dont know what it means...

Should I go to the doctors in the end?....Im so stressed that Ive been losing weight over it, I was 105-108 this summer and now Im only a 100 pounds...Im up late and constantly worrying and thinking about things, looking up health stuff online...I DONT want to be pregnant, and I DONT want to have my yeast infection worsen or the bump on my arm...Im so scared and stressed...its slowly draining me away each and everyway and it seems like worse stuff keeps on happening to me...please reply back fast...

First and foremost the best thing you can do for yourself is calm down. I realize that is easier said than done, however many of your health related feelings can be a result of the stress you feel. The saying "worry myself sick" is real, you can do that. So, the armpit thing is most likely and ingrown hair. What this means is that a hair follicle has gotten infected because a new hair growing in did not actually come through the skin. An ingrown hair is very painful and lasts awhile and is very common in areas where you normally shave. Your description with a minimal amount of discharge is also a symptom. If you want to get rid of it faster use a face wipe (something with salicylic acid in it). 2) If you had your period you are not pregnant. Only a very few people have a period while their pregnant and that usually means something is wrong, but you cant take a pregnancy test until the day after your missed period, however, your not pregnant. Most condom's have spermicide in them which kills sperm on contact in case of a tear in the latex. However, you should be the person providing the condoms always! This is to ensure that you, who has the most at stake by a condom gone wrong, know how the condom has been treated to avoid things like tears. Condoms are sensitive to heat and wear and tear (like keeping it in his wallet). 3) Yeast infections suck! and thats it. They will go away but the take time and every woman is different, meaning that the medicine may not have been fully effective for you. If you want to curb the itching, go to the pharmacy and get a dry skin cream designed for the vagina. They make some specifically for the dry, itchy, burning you get from yeast infections. However, it also may be a bacterial infection. If you have changed soaps lately, or changed detergent, or something similar, it could trigger a bacterial infection. It is very common and has many of the same symptoms as a yeast infection. It may not hurt to go to the doctor because if it is the will need to give you an antibiotic. Until this clears up though you need to not have sex or allow any sexual activity of any kind near your vagina, it can further irritation and hinder the healing process. All-in-all though you are okay and you have nothing to worry about. Everything you complain about is very common and your not pregnant so life is good :)
