I am 26, in good health. I just had my first UTI that started last wednesday. I went to the doctor on Friday and was put on Cipro. In the meantime I started my period Thursday night but it was light. By Friday night it seemed normal. I typically bleed for 4 or 5 days but it lightens up by the 4th day. As of now, it has not lightened up, and yesterday when I got out of the shower I was standing there and blood seemed to just pour out of me and formed a puddle on the floor. I have never had this happen before. It worries me! Blood seems to just keep flowing out of me. It doesnt seem to be as bad right now but up till now I was going through tampons like every couple hours. Every time I think it may be stopping it starts again. Can this be from my UTI or meds? Or should I be concerned?
