My partner and I didn't notice that the condom had broken until we had finished. I'm not on birth control so I took the plan b pills less than 12 hours after having intercourse. Just a side note, I knew that 4 days later I was to be expecting my period. But from what I am aware, plan b can also result in spotting or bleeding a few days after taking the pill. So here I am 4 days later. This morning when I woke up it seemed that I was just spotting at first. But as the day progressed it seems that it has become a bit heavier. I don't know if I should assume that this is a result of taking plan b, if it is my actual period, or anything else. Hopefully someone can offer some insight on this matter

Hi Sgirl5

It could be either or, just to be certain i would recommend that wait till your period is over in its due time and then go consult.

I took plan B less than 24 hours after having hte unprotected sex, and it was 1 week before my period. I took the plan B in the evening, then the next night I started what I believed to be was spotting, but it was brown and chunky. I'm not sure if I should assume this is my period or wait until my expected date. Did yours end up being your period or was it just spotting?
