It is very difficult to answer your question, because everybody’s needs are individual. Many people believe they are not sleeping enough, but they don't assess how much sleep they really need. It is not a wonder that some people get enough sleep in 5-6 hours, while others need 10-11 hours for optimal performance. It is estimated that the average adult functions best with 7-8 hours of sleep a night. But, your sleeping requirements also change during year, based on your day activities, amount of stress and exhaustion. "Circadian rhythm," or the biological clock is regulating your sleep-wake cycles.
