Hey all. I'm in need of some advise.

I was on the depo injection for 9 years. I have been off it since September of last year and only last month I started back my periods. I'd been having all of the symptoms of starting back, cramps, sore boobs, spots etc but no sign at all of bleeding. I went to my Dr's to find out if it was normal to which they insisted I take a pregnancy test (not possible of being pregnant and not sexual active for 6 months) I did it regardless to please them.

Anyhow, I've finally come on and the first month was very light but this month, well I don't really know what to say except it is horrendous!!!! I am in constant agony and am having these really big, thick black looking blood clots. I seriously feel like my insides are coming away from me. I'm extremely heavy bleeding and the icing on the cake is I've been bleeding now for nearly 3 weeks. 

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is it normal? I've tried everything from painkillers to heat pads and nothing is easing the pain.
