i got the flu and still havent got my period :(

I'm in the same position. My boyfriend and I are very newly sexually active - as in, we've had sex twice. We live a little over an hour apart so we don't get a lot of privacy time :P We had sex almost two weeks ago, and used a condom. We were very careful and I'm 99.999% sure nothing went wrong. However, my period is usually right on time (give or take a day or two) and I'm a day late. I also miscalculated the date my period was supposed to start so I panicked for three days before I realized this (which was a lot of stress, let me tell you) and had the flu last night (probably from the stress and something is going around at work). Still no period (two days late now). I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet (too afraid to honestly) but I'm staying optimistic that it is just the stress (which can always delay periods anyway) and being sick have pushed it back a few days.
