I have had the implant in now for a year and 9 month and all has been great apart from the odd mood swing here and there which is fine. I have never had a period on the implant, not even spotting and that's been fantastic.

I woke up this morning (Sunday 12 Sept) and I had a really bad stomach ache and my legs were aching like hell. Anyway, I went to the toilet and I was bleeding. I'm only 18 and it's pretty worrying to me as I haven't had one for so long and think something may be wrong.

I was on the pill for heavy periods as I used to faint and vomit. The pains were horrendous! So I went on the implant as I heard that this could help.

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me, it would be much appreciated.
