Last Sunday morning I woke up with a sore throat, body aches, and later in the day began getting chills. For the next four or five days the body aches, sore throat, and a headache that when I moved too much or took a step got worse. At first I thought it was a simple cold, but this is lasting too long, and I haven't got any congestion or a runny/stuffy nose, and no cough. It's the tenth day and I still have a sore throat, it seems like it's getting better sometimes, but gets worse again. I can't eat, it hurts to breathe sometimes, and it hurts when I swallow. The mucus in the back of my throat is a light brownish color varying to a dark brown. The past few days my ears have started to ache slightly as well. What do you think it could be? A sinus infection maybe? For some reason that just doesn't seem like it would be the case..
