I have had this problem since I had my second child I have been bleeding for nine years and it has stopped only two times in the past nine years for a three month period but it just doesnt stop here lately the clotting has gotten worse it has gone from quarter size to baseball size im very anemic I have to take iron pills I also crave ice from the anemia I get really tired from the loss of blood I have dark circles around my eyes and im really depressed if anyone has any idea what the problem could be . I dont know if it is cancer or leftover placenta but im told that thoughs are two possibilities by ppl.

My son was born 2.5 months ago. I recently had an obgyn visit and told her of my period-like bleeding 2 months after birth. She immediately ordered an ultrasound to see if there was any placenta left in me which could be causing this since I was breastfeeding exclusively and hadn't had a period for almost a year after birth with my other two children. I had had a c-section so a part of the placenta left in me would have been rare, but they checked and found nothing so she concluded it was just my hormones (or a period). Meanwhile I'm bleeding off and on, sometimes filling a pantyliner, sometimes needing a pad. I figure it's just my hormones!
