I had a baby 3 months ago and got my first period 3 weeks ago. How long is this going to last? When me and my husband are sexually active it seems to get very heavy. Is this normal?

I delivered my baby 9 months ago and got my first period just today. I have a lot of back pain and heavy bleeding. Can anyone tell me how many days will I bleed during the first menstrual cycle after the delivery?
