I haven't been on the pill for over a year (I was on it a month after I had an abortion and then did not want to have sex for a very long time so didn't bother taking it). And prior to that had not been on the pill for a few years and had regular periods. I am very in tune with my body. Anyway this is going to sound very cliche but my best friend of 10 years I have finally realised I am very much in love with... So I took the plunge and we have been having sex for the past few months (with condoms only). Last month I decided to give the pill another go. So after taking it for 7 days (or less I don't remember) we had unprotected sex (and quite a bit of it) despite the fact I could majorly tell my libido was suppressed (thanks Trifeme). When I did get my "fake period" it wasn't very much and was mainly just brown for a couple of days and that was it. I also stopped taking the pill once I was onto the "placebo" pills, because my partner and I decided that it really suppressed my libido too much. It has been approximately 6/7 weeks guestination from our no-condom experience, although we have had condom-sex a lot since. We had sex about a week ago and it wasn't very rough (although he is on the very-large side of penis size which can be a hindrance/pain), but I noticed slight blood in mucosa afterwards, and then a couple of days of brown discharge. I read your cervix can be more susceptible to bleeding when pregnant? I am feeling very tired lately (12 hour sleeps are unusual for me), dizzy, urinating frequently (not a UTI as I've had them before), full feeling of my uterus (similar to when I was pregnant a year ago), and have actually been needing to eat breakfast (I never eat breakfast), have had some constipation/the runs ....... Could all these symptoms just be because of going on the pill for a month and my hormones being all weird, or could I be pregnant? Am dreading taking a test but want to know if the pill could have not been effective after a week???? (I have a feeling I'm very fertile and I'm a healthy 24 year old with no sexual infection history) Will definitely be taking a pregnancy test soon.... Oh dear Please help!!
