I had my 1 shot DEPO in august 5 after the expiration on November 3 I didn't take a shot in depo and I didn't have my period in the next month which is December then in the next month January in day 6 I begun spotting then in the 7th day it stop after a few days I spot again so I took PT but it is negative, in the 11th day I spot again then it stop so I took a PT again in the 15th day and on the 18th day I spot again and in the 19th day it was not spot because its just like a period but the blood that coming out is not that many then it stop again and in the 22nd day I spot again so I was confused if what is the reason why I am on-off spotting?

Spotting after taking the depo shot is not uncommon. This is because your body is adjusting to the hormones in the shot, and it can take some time for the hormones to be fully absorbed into your system. Spotting is also more likely to occur if you do not receive your shot on time.
I presume that you now know that you aren't pregnant? And that spotting stopped?
