I cant believe this post goes back as far as 06. I too have had this problem for many years and only recently found out the cause. There are part of your semen that his high in sugar called fructose. This allows the semen to clot or become gel-like. This was originally thought to be a good thing as it would latch on to the inside of a women thereby allowing for a better chance at reproduction. Makes sense. Well if this semen is made of a high concentrate of sugar, then it also makes sense that the amount of sugar your body has would casue this gel like semen. If you have over loaded in sugar, or are a diabetic then this could be your solution. I am a diabetic and when my sugar is consistantly regular, I dont have this problem. If you arent diabetic, this could be a symptom. Tell your doc, dont be embarrassed.

For everyone posting here that you sometimes have PAIN when ejaculating you may want to read up on both Epididymitis and Prostatitis. While checking my testicles recently I found a spot on the bottom of one of my testicles that felt abnormal. I went to the Dr. for some sinus and allergy related problems and ask him while I was there about it, and he examined me and said that everything 'felt' normal, but put me on a strong course of antibiotics just to be on the safe side, plus I had both sinus and ear infections as well. The Antibiotic was much stronger than normal and had to be taken 3 times a day instead of two. For a year or so I had been noticing a pinching pain around my prostate, but thought it was normal. Well it turns out all of this was VERY related. As soon as the Antibiotics started to take effect in my system I noticed a change in the consistency and color of my ejaculate. No more than a week after I finished the antibiotics I masturbated and felt a sensation I had never felt before. Just like described in an earlier post, I felt a pinching pain around my prostate like my ejaculate was too thick to 'shoot' out, and it just oozed out. After reading a lot, and consulting with my Dr. he concluded that it is one of the two conditions I mentioned Epididymitis or Prostatitis. I have an appointment with a urologist in a few weeks to find out what is going on. Epididymitis is extremely common, and most guys have had it multiple times in their life, almost no matter your age, but have never known it. You should never 'feel' anything painful around your prostate, if you do - it's a sign that something isn't right. It's not a sign that something is BAD, but it is a sign that you should go to your Dr. and find out what is going on. All of my blood tests came back normal - so I'm anxious to hear what the Urologist has to say.

OK guys, I have the same problem. those yellowish jelly like clods were driving me crazy! I'm 24, and as far as I can remember i"ve had them for a couple years for sure, sometimes less, like two or three of them. sometimes more. and lately they started to grow in size and quantity. About a year ago, I started seeing a decrease in my energy levels and as a result stopped masturbating as frequently. From this point I went a month or two without masturbating. I am experiencing this problem since 5 years ago, and I still have the same problem. If we don't want to see a doctor, we have to make a difference between prostatitis and other causes (like drinking not enough water). How can we make this difference? If somebody who reads this, it's virgin and he can tell us that he has this problem, I think we can assume this is not a prostate inflammation (prostatitis). it is quite normal for men to experience this symptom, you do not have to be alarmed. Only when you see pink or red colored sperm is when you need to see a doctor immediately due to past or recent medical challenges. These yellowish jelly like sperm are clots that are being released due to being clogged up for a while. I have had yellow semen and brownish sperm with a clumpy consistency and it appears to have several different reasons for those. What I'm mostly curious on is whether arousal is directly correlated with semen. I masturbated four times in the past week, watching porn, not watching porn, watching porn, not watching porn. What I found is that when I watched the porn I had these negative symptoms, when I didn't I had white and cloudy semen. I know it could simply be me reading into the whole negative outlook on porn, but when i've consistently had the problems, and for some reason continue to do it to porn, and then magically not have it when i'm not watching it...It just seems waaay too coincidental to me. I'm going to try to drink a lot more water daily, take a multivitamin for a week then a magnesium and zinc pill the next week (to see if I can isolate the vitamin or mineral) and then I'm going to masturbate once a day w/o porn. I will come back and give you my results next wednesday and the following one. But I would VERY much like to hear if someone has had a significant difference in color because of arousal level. I have had this go on twice in my life for extended periods. Since I have a vasectomy, this is not from the testicals, but the prostate were seman is produced. Both times I got this was when on a year long whiskey drinking bout. it went away the first time a few months after stopping the drinking. This time my doctor gave me antibiotics as I have a prostate infection and it seems to be gowing away. It is for sure it is a prostate issue, that is what produces the creamy white fluid that transports the sperm that is produced in your testicles.

It's not a prostate problem for all of us. I got a prostate exam and everything today (fun, I know) and it was not my prostate. I'm going to a urologist soon and giving 2 urine samples and a semen sample...I'll let you guys know....
