I had a leep procedure done back in April; ever since the surgery I have had a 10 day period. Starting with the first day of small amount of brown discharge lasting three days then a heavier red blood for three to four days and another 3 to 4 days of a small amount of brown blood towards the end of my peroid. I talked with the GYN but really I didn't get into deatail I was just explaing about brown discharge and he said it was normal so I thought OK I'll see what happens. Now I am begining to think that there is something wrong, it isn't getting better and I have never had this before it is not normal for me. Has anyone ever experienced something similar?

I had surgery in May and I am esxperiencing the same brown-black spotting for 10-12 days and my period is black-brown as well instead of red.
I talked to my dr but he just said that it was old blood and did not pay much attention to me so I am planning to talk to a new dr about this.
Because I am really worry that something is not normal...

I had the LEEP procedure done in the beginning of Aug. and prior to that my periods were regular and lasted 3-4 days. Now, my past 3 periods have lasted about 10 days as well so I have the same problem! It starts out spotting brown for days and then becomes regular for a few days, then spotting for days again. My doctor said he didn't think it has anything to do with the procedure; however, I am not convinced.
